Moooooooo
Says the cow!
Cows are not only a good source of milk but the pose itself is good for opening up your hips and shoulders. Come sit with me while we make the face of a cow and open our bodies and minds to new things. It's quite a silly position but once you get into it you immediately feel what its trying to do to you. Yet another pose where I have no idea where the name came from but if you translate it from sanskrit it means the cow face. If you have any ideas please enlighten me.. ;)
Enjoy turning your body into a cow with me.

Eagle
So I've successfully made it home from my whirlwind of a long weekend in Berlin. Now what comes to mind is balance so here you have it, the eagle! This position is one of the tricky sort of balances because not only are you on one foot but you are also trying to lock your legs/thighs together opening up your hips as you try to lower your straight spine down but also doing the same with your arms to open up those shoulders. It still remains one of my favorites though because just when you think you are getting the balancing act down with other postures this one comes along to remind you that there is always progress to be made. Enjoy!!!

Berlin
Sorry everyone but I'm away for a few days in Berlin so I have had no time to put together a video for you this week. So, that leaves time for suggestion when I get to making next week. Take the time to go through something that you have already done. A yoga practice is not about new things, it's about the practice itself. Even if it's the same poses every time it's just about being there. Be well and I will be back with you shortly.
Much love!
